In these days of satellite phones, cell phones, wireless internet, onboard e-mail, and high frequency radio, there still remain times when each of us may need to reach help quickly: Coast Guard, Signal Stations, Search and Rescue. If you are calling by phone, you may have to dial 011 or 001 or 1 to get an international line depending on what country you are calling from and what country you are calling.
